September 2023, wow, that seems a life time ago. I was still in my 30’s for one thing. We had always wanted to take James to Chester Zoo. Lyns and I had been there years before when we had met mum and dad in Chester for one of dad’s big birthdays.
Read MoreA few weeks ago we decided to go for a walk around Askham Bog as we had not been in years. Unfortunately, when we got there it is was closed as they were repairing the boardwalks. Not to waste the time, one quick google later, we had found Staverley Nature Reserve. There is a lovely three(ish) mile loop around the reserve with several bird hides.
