Nostell Again
The end of November saw Lyns and I have a long awaiting catch up with our friends Lydia and Nigel. The girls had planned to head to the Christmas Fair at the York Race Course, however, I did not fancy this so we had to make other plans. First things first though, dinner and a few drinks. After the little ones had run off all their energy in the house we put them to bed. Apart from a couple of trips to calm them down, they settled very well. This meant that us adults could get on with dinner and a few glasses of wine.
We had a relatively early night and were up bright and breezy on the Sunday morning. Nigel and I were heading to Nostell Priory with the kids, with the girls meeting us there later as it is on the way home for Lydia and Nigel. We arrived and headed straight to the play park. Not a lot more to say really as the kids had a whale of a time.
After a good play in the park, we headed to a local farm shop and restaurant for a hugely filling dinner. A very short post here does not reflect the amount of fun we had. We all had an amazing time and the restaurant was a great little find for dinner if we are ever in this area.
